Run To The Sun Festival cancelled, say organisers

Organisers of a popular festival which showcases custom cars have announced the cancellation of this year's event.
The Run To The Sun (RTTS) festival returned to Newquay Cornwall in 2024 having not been held since 2013.
Organisers said the decision to cancel for 2025 was "not made lightly" and said rising costs were part of the reason.
They said they would instead focus on the RTTS festival for 2026, and people could either roll their tickets over or receive a refund.
Organisers said: "RTTS is so much more than just a business for us; it represents our love, passion, and dedication - it's a massive part of our lives.
"Bringing RTTS back to Cornwall has been a labour of love, rooted in our commitment to celebrate cars and community.
"However, we find ourselves navigating challenging times in the event industry.
"Many of our fellow events face similar hurdles, with rising costs and a cautious audience impacting ticket sales."
They thanked people for their "unwavering support".
