Trains resume after van crashes on level crossing

Train services between Shrewsbury and Hereford have returned to normal after a van crashed at a level crossing on Tuesday.
Photos from the scene showed the van on its side across the railway.
No trains were involved in the incident, Network Rail said, and the barriers at the crossing were raised at the time of the crash.
They said disruption had affected services between Chester, Crewe, Holyhead, Manchester Picadilly and Cardiff Central as well as those between Manchester Picadilly and Milford Haven and Swansea.
Earlier on Wednesday trains ran at a reduced speed on the lines, as engineers assessed damage to the crossing.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said the driver of the van was assessed by paramedics but he did not wish to go to hospital and was discharged at the scene.
