Thomas Morgan appeared at Swansea Crown Court on Monday

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a five-month-old baby.

Thomas Morgan, 28, from Gorseinon, Swansea county, is accused of murdering Jensen-Lee Dougal in Clydach on 30 March 2024.

He appeared via video link at Swansea Crown Court on Monday to confirm his name.

Judge Paul Thomas KC told Mr Morgan he was expected to next appear in court on 5 September.

A provisional trial date was fixed for 6 January.

Mr Morgan was remanded in custody.
