Forty firefighters have tackled a huge fire at a motorbike workshop which was badly damaged in the blaze.

They were called to the building in Mons Hill, Woodsetton, Dudley, just before 06:30 GMT on Friday, West Midlands Fire Service said.

More than two-thirds of the single-storey workshop was damaged in the fire which sent a large plume of smoke into the sky.

The fire was out by 11:00 GMT on Friday but fire crews spent the day at the site to dampen down hotspots, a spokesperson added.

The cause of the fire was being investigated, they said.
