A £20,000 reward has been offered for information about a fatal shooting of a "family-orientated" man.

Mustapha Jatta, 30, died after the shooting on Railway Terrace in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire on 17 September.

Five people were arrested in connection with the incident but have been released on bail.

Mustapha's father said his son was "another victim of gun crime. He's a father, son, loved one, and a friend to many".

Police were called to reports of a shooting at about 00:33 BST and 15 minutes later to reports of a white Volkswagen Golf on fire in Furtherfield in nearby Abbots Langley, which police are linking.

'Get justice'

Crimestoppers has now issued a reward of £20,000 until 7 March 2025 for direct information leading to the conviction of anyone involved in his murder.

In a statement issued via the police force, Mr Jatta's father said: "Mustapha was very family orientated. He would do what was expected for friends and family and is missed."

Det Insp Dale Mepstead said the force had been "working tirelessly over the last few months".

"We understand it can be difficult and daunting to come forward with information," he said.

"If you know something and have not yet spoken to us, we urged you to please get in touch or contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

"No matter how small or insignificant the details may seem, it could prove vital to our investigation."

Annabelle Goodenough, regional manager at Crimestoppers, said the charity wanted to "get justice" for Mr Jatta's family and friends.

"Our charity is completely independent of the police," she said.

"You can make a difference by passing on what you know whilst being protected by our guarantee of anonymity.

"That means no police, no courts, no witness statements."
