Passengers travelling between Haywards Heath and Gatwick Airport have been told to expect delays and cancellations until midday.

A signalling fault means Gatwick Express services have been suspended while engineers try to fix the problem.

Travellers have been told to expect delays of up to half an hour on their journeys on Wednesday morning.

Tickets are being accepted on "any reasonable route" between Brighton and London.

Southern said engineers from Network Rail had fixed the fault overnight but it has now broken again.

It is the second consecutive day of delays on the Brighton to London line, after a pair of faults sparked cancellations on the route on Tuesday morning.
