Deadline looms for views on council's draft budget
People have been urged to have their say on Cornwall Council's draft budget plans ahead of Sunday's deadline.
The council needs to find savings of £49m to balance its budget for the 2025/2026 financial year.
The authority said: "We want to hear your views on our draft budget to get an understanding of your priorities, needs and aspirations for our services and your community."
The survey closes at midnight on Sunday.
'Considerable financial pressures'
Cornwall Council said: "Increased demand and rising costs for statutory services, such as emergency accommodation provision, services for children with special educational needs and disabilities, and adult social care are causing considerable financial pressures on local authorities across the UK.
"Cornwall Council is no exception."
The authority said its business plan was based on a "clear mission for Cornwall Council of working with communities for a carbon neutral Cornwall, where everyone can start well, live well and age well".
It added its "proposals build on the actions we have already taken to reduce the size of our organisation, tackle the housing crisis, and grow our local economy".
