Loose valve causes leisure centre pool to drain

A leisure centre swimming pool has been closed after a loose valve caused it to drain.
Waterlane Leisure Centre in Lowestoft, Suffolk, announced on Monday it had temporarily closed the pool affecting some swimming lessons.
In a statement on Wednesday, Donna Taylor the general manager said the pool was being refilled with an aim to reopen on Friday.
She thanked customers for their patience and apologised for "any inconvenience caused".
"The main pool is temporarily closed due to a loose valve which unfortunately caused the pool to drain," Ms Taylor said.
"The pool is currently being refilled and we hope to reopen on Friday. We thank our customers for their patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused."
The leisure centre's learner pool remained open as usual.
