Attackers sought after woman injured in robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery which left a woman with "life-changing" injuries.

West Midlands Police said a woman and a man, both in their 30s, were walking along Talbot Road in Lye, Dudley, shortly after 18:00 GMT on 23 February when they were attacked.

The woman was seriously injured and both were taken to hospital.

Her mobile phone was stolen during the incident.

The force said it was looking for two suspects, one who was dressed in all black clothing and another who was wearing a navy jacket with white piping on the arms.

Officers have reviewed CCTV footage and spoken to residents but are asking anyone who can help with the investigation to call 101, quoting incident 20/154806/25.
