Man killed in A85 motorbike and car crash

A 65-year-old man has died in a two-vehicle crash in Argyll and Bute.

The accident on the A85 - which happened at 10:30 on Sunday near the village of Lochawe - involved a black Skoda Octavia and a grey Aprilia Tuono motorcycle.

The man who was riding the motorbike involved died at the scene.

The road was closed for nearly 11 hours while accident investigations were carried out.

Police Scotland said inquiries into the crash were ongoing.

They have asked anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
