There are tailbacks of up to six miles on the M60 motorway this morning after a two vehicle crash.

National Highways are reporting that there are delays of up to 90 minutes after the crash on the clockwise carriageway at Junction 27 at the Portwood Roundabout in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

The crash has also caused delays to the Bee bus network in the area, with the 201, 202, 322, 327, 330 and 383 services affected.

Two lanes have since re-opened on the carriageway but there are severe delays expected throughout the morning.

Greater Manchester Police said the crash involved two cars with "minor injuries" reported.
