Jury discharged in gym car park murder trial

The jury in a trial of four men accused of murdering a 20-year-old man in a gym car park in Telford has been discharged.

Tamba Momodu was shot in Bridges Business Park in Horsehay on13 October 2020.

Mahamud Tarabi, 32, of Whiteleys Parade in Hillingdon, London, and Ahmed Karshe, 30, of no fixed address, were on trial for murder alongside Deria Hassan, 32, of Ferrymead Avenue in Greenford, London, and Merje Ngoy, 24, of no fixed address.

Their trial started at Stafford Crown Court in January but the jury was dismissed on Monday. A new trial is scheduled to start on 12 January 2026.
