Carriageway closed following bus blaze

A section of a main road was closed on Saturday evening and throughout Sunday due to a bus fire.
Firefighters responded to reports of a single-decker bus on fire on the eastbound carriageway of the A30 between Stowford Cross and Sourton at about 19:25 GMT on Saturday.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on arrival crews from Launceston found the bus was "well alight" and crews from Okehampton were already in attendance.
Devon and Cornwall Police closed the eastbound carriageway between Launceston in Cornwall and the A386 Sourton Down in Devon while National Highways crews carried out "essential maintenance work". The road has now reopened.

The fire service said the bus was "severely damaged" but no-one was injured.
It said the cause of the fire was "accidental".
