Man in court on embezzlement and fraud charges

A man has appeared in court in the south of Scotland charged with embezzlement.

Arthur Temlett, 69, also faced a charge relating to a fraudulent scheme at Dumfries Sheriff Court.

Mr Temlett, whose address was given as the Dumfries area, appeared in private on petition.

He made no plea and was committed for further examination. He was granted bail with no date set for his next court appearance.
