Man dies after van crashes into road barriers

A man has died after his van crashed into a central reservation on a dual carriageway.

The white Citroen van struck the barrier on the A47 westbound near King's Lynn, Norfolk, at about 15:30 GMT on Thursday.

It came to a stop on a slip road of the Saddlebow roundabout, police said.

The driver, aged in his 60s, was taken by air ambulance to hospital for treatment but has since died.

Officers would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any relevant dashcam footage.
