Man dies after serious crash involving two lorries

A man has died and another has been arrested following a serious crash involving two lorries.
Police were called to the A40 London Road near the Northleach roundabout, Gloucestershire at about 00:50 BST on Friday morning, with fire and ambulance services also attending.
One of the drivers, a man in his 30s, died at the scene, while the other driver was taken to hospital to be checked over and has been released. A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is being questioned.
The A40 remains closed at the roundabout, where it meets the A429 eastbound towards Burford. Diversions are in place but traffic is coping, Inrix said.
Motorists who are not driving heavy goods vehicles have been asked by police to divert via Northleach, which has a 7.5 tonne weight restriction.
Gloucestershire Police has asked anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to provide it via an online form, quoting incident 12 of 18 July.
