Man in his 20s seriously injured in stabbing

Police say a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing.

Wiltshire Police said two suspects, who were dressed in all black and thought to be riding a black e-bike, targeted the victim at about 16:45 GMT on Kennedy Drive in Eldene, Swindon, on Wednesday.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was treated for injuries not believed to be life-changing.

Det Sgt Sarah Munday said: "We appreciate the community impact that this will cause, please be reassured that we are taking it very seriously."

Officers remained at the scene on Thursday, as the investigation continued.

"If you witnessed the incident, or believe you may have seen the suspects before or after the incident, or have any footage then please come forward," Det Sgt Munday said.

"Anything you're able to provide or tell us could assist us."
