Car ploughs into restaurant in three-vehicle crash

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a three-vehicle collision which involved one vehicle crashing into the front of a restaurant.

Surrey Police were called to The Oaks Square in Waterloo Road, Epsom, shortly after 17:00 BST on Saturday.

The driver of one car collided with a motorcycle and then a second vehicle, before crashing into the front of Blacks Burgers, said the force.

Officers confirmed no-one inside the restaurant was injured.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: "The driver of the first car remained at the scene and helped officers with enquiries.

"No arrests have been made."

Road closures were in place in Waterloo Road after the incident, but authorities said it had since been reopened.

Police said they were looking to speak to witnesses or anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that may have captured the incident.
