Cyclist seriously injured in moped collision

Two cyclists have been left injured in a collision involving two moped riders who police say fled the scene.

Essex Police were called to the crash in Mount Road, Theydon Garnon, near Epping, at about 09:45 GMT on Sunday.

One cyclist has been taken to hospital and the other may have sustained potentially life changing injuries, the force said.

Officers have appealed for dashcam footage and anyone with information to come forward.
