The child died in hospital after becoming unwell at a property in Llangunnor, police said

Police continue to investigate the death of a child after a 41-year-old woman was arrested.

Officers were called by the Welsh Ambulance Service to an address in Llangunnor, Camarthenshire, at about 18:00 GMT on 20 February.

Police said a four-year-old girl was found to be "unwell" at the property and was taken to hospital where she died a short time later.

A woman was arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter, and has been released on bail, Dyfed-Powys Police said.
