Wheels weekender event rolls into city

A market square will be transformed into an arena to welcome bikes, skateboards and drift trikes.
Extreme Wheels Weekender will roll into Wolverhampton's Market Square on 14 and 15 June.
The free family-friendly event will feature stunt demonstrations by professional riders and skateboarders, food stalls, funfair rides and inflatable games.
Visitors aged nine and over will be able to enjoy the event from 10:00 to 16:00 BST. Councillor Chris Burden said people would be able to experience a sport that is on the rise as well as watching jaw dropping stunts in a safe environment.
"You will even be able to have a go yourselves by taking part in the mobile skate park, drift trikes and KMX karts," he said.
Participants are welcome to bring their own bikes, scooters and skateboards although helmets and appropriate footwear will be mandatory for all activities.
E-bikes or E-scooters are not permitted within the event site.
