Cyclist seriously hurt in crash with car

A cyclist has been seriously injured in a collision with a car in Barnsley.
The crash happened in Jockey Road, at the junction with Coates Lane, at 14:30 GMT on Saturday, and involved a cyclist and a white Jaguar XE, South Yorkshire Police said.
The cyclist, a 33-year-old man, remained in hospital with serious injuries, the force said.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the collision is asked to contact police.
