Motorcyclist dies after crashing into fence

A 33-year-old motorcyclist died after her bike left the road and crashed into a fence.

Cambridgeshire Police said the woman had been riding a red Honda GB 650 RA-K along the B1043 at Stanton Hill towards Sawtry, at about 19:45 BST on Wednesday.

The woman who was from Hampton Hargate in Peterborough died at the scene, and officers believed no other vehicles were involved.

Sgt Mark Atkins, said: "Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and we are appealing to anyone who saw the collision or the bike before it happened to contact us."
