Woman found dead in Cornwall home named by police

A woman found dead in a property in Cornwall has been identified as 60-year-old Maleta Rosevear.

Known as Milly, her body was found at an address on Churchtown Road, Illogan, on Friday 10 January, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Officers attended an area of the A30 after the discovery, following concern for the welfare of a man aged in his 50s. The man subsequently fell from a bridge and was declared dead at the scene.

Det Insp Rob Smith said police were continuing to carry out inquiries into the death, which was being treated as suspicious, but they were not looking at anyone else in connection with it.

He added: "Our thoughts remain with the family and friends."
