Woman in court charged with boy's murder

A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of a four-year-old boy.

Akanksha Adivarekar, 37, of Dunholme End, Maidenhead, appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

She was remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on Friday.

Thames Valley Police said officers were called to a home in Dunholme End on 10 June.
