Three bailed over girl's quad bike crash
A boy and two adults who were arrested after a seven-year-old girl was seriously injured in a quad bike crash have been released on bail.
The girl was thrown from the bike when it hit a telegraph pole on High Street in Kippax, near Leeds, at about 22:30 GMT on Thursday.
Police said the girl was receiving treatment for what they described as "serious and life-changing" injuries.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, while a man and a woman, both in their 30s, were arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
West Yorkshire Police said all three had been released on bail as inquiries continued.
According to police, the girl had been a passenger on the bike when it crashed outside the Old Tree Inn pub.
The bike, a green Honda TRX420, had been travelling away from Leeds Road when the crash occurred.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and CCTV or dashcam footage of the Honda being ridden around Kippax from 22:00 GMT on Boxing Day.
