Further arrests after man dies in car crash

A further two people have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a car crash.

Theo Welsh, 36, died in the crash at the A40 Benhall Roundabout in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, at about 00:40 GMT on Sunday.

Two men, both in their 30s and from Gloucester, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving on Sunday and have since been released under investigation.

In an update on Monday, police said two more people from Gloucester - a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s - had also been arrested in connection with the incident. They have also been released under investigation.

Mr Welsh, from Cheltenham, had been inside a white Porsche at the time of the crash.

Several road closures were put in place following the crash, with the roads reopening later on Sunday.

Gloucestershire Police has urged anyone with information or dashcam footage that could help the investigation to come forward.
