Boy killed in moped crash 'an all-round great kid'

The family of a teenager killed in a crash involving a moped and a tractor have paid tribute to the "most compassionate, hardworking and just an all-round great kid".

Cheshire Police said moped rider Ronnie Tillot, from Chester, died at the scene of the crash on Welsh Road in Dodleston at about 07:30 BST on 11 July.

Paying tribute to the 17-year-old, his family said they were "devastated and heartbroken at the loss of a wonderful son and brother" and added: "Our lives will never be the same. Ronnie will be truly missed by all his friends and family."

The 19-year-old tractor driver, from Wrexham, was uninjured in the crash, Cheshire Police said.

Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone with information about the crash to come forward.

No arrests have been made.
