Charlotte and Charlie top new baby names for 2024
PACharlotte, Isla and Charlie were the most popular first names for babies born in Guernsey during 2024.
Data collected from the States Greffier register shows the names Charlotte and Isla were both given to four baby girls, while Charlie was registered to five boys.
Amelia, Evie, Harper, Isabella, Mila, Olivia and Pippa, were the second most commonly chosen names for girls, with three each.
The second most popular boy's name chosen for 2024 was Reggie, which was registered four times.
The names have all replaced the most commonly given names from 2023.
In 2023, Mia topped the list for girls, being registered five times, while seven boys were named either Harry or Oliver.
