Thruxton crash: Man dies after van leaves the road

A man has died after the van he was driving left the road.

It happened on the A303 between Cholderton and Thruxton in Hampshire, on the eastbound carriageway, just after 17:00 GMT on Thursday.

The man, who was in his 80s and from Solihull, died at the scene, Hampshire Constabulary said.

Officers said there was nothing to suggest another vehicle was involved but appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.
