Coxheath: Driver crashes car through front doors of shop
A shopkeeper has said a driver and their passenger are “lucky to be alive” after driving their car through the front of his store.
Dramatic footage captured the moment the vehicle ploughed through the front doors of a convenience store in Coxheath, Kent.
Store owner Sham Singh Bains said the incident caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Both men escaped without injuries from the crash at 01:00 GMT on Saturday, according to police.
A 21-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of driving while over the legal alcohol limit and taken into custody. He was later released without charge.
