A mental health charity has reassured the community its service will continue uninterrupted despite its office being flooded.

Oxfordshire Mind's base in Osney, Oxford, was among properties in the county to be deluged with water after heavy rainfall on 4 January.

But it said this would not hinder its work of providing support to those experiencing mental health problems.

The team will operate remotely until the office is useable again.

Jess Willsher, CEO of Oxfordshire Mind, said: "We understand the importance of our services to the community, especially during these challenging times.

"While the flooding posed an unexpected obstacle, our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that support for mental health continues without interruption."

The flooding at the start of the month covered the county and caused travel disruptions and sewage to spill into homes.

Flood alerts have remained in place in Oxfordshire this week.
