Could Scotland be a wind power super power?

Have you ever driven past a wind farm and seen some of the turbines are not turning – even on a windy day?

In the UK’s national grid supply and demand have to balance - if there is too much supply and not enough demand there’s nowhere for that power to go.

But is there a way of utilising that excess wind energy? And could green hydrogen be at least part of the solution?
