Watch: 'We're so disappointed' - tourists react to cancelled Hogmanay

"We wanted to see the fireworks - but now it's just rain."

Tourists in Edinburgh have been expressing disappointment over the cancellation of the capital's Hogmanay celebrations.

A total of 45,000 people were expected to attend the street party, fireworks display and outdoor concert before they were cancelled on public safety grounds.

An amber warning for rain is in force in parts of Scotland until 17:00, as well as flood alerts and flood warnings across the country.

Indoor events, including a candlelit concert at St Giles' Cathedral, are scheduled to go ahead as planned.
