Slade's Holder wakes up wife every Christmas with iconic lyric
The frontman of Slade, Noddy Holder, has revealed he wakes his wife up every Christmas morning by bellowing the iconic lyric "It's Christmas".
Suzan and Holder, whose band created the hit Merry Xmas Everybody, have been married for 30 years.
Suzan told BBC Breakfast that without fail her singer husband woke her this way after a cup of tea each 25 December.
On the Breakfast sofa he yelled out another famous line from the Christmas song.
The couple appeared on the show to talk about raising money for a hospice.
Five years ago, Noddy Holder was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer and given just six months to live.
