New mural added to street art walking trail

A new mural in Newquay is set to be completed, making it the fourth in the town centre which form a street art walking trail.
Artist Josephine Hicks, also known as Hixxy - began work on the mural on Gover Lane on Tuesday in Newquay town centre.
Last year, three other murals were created in the town - each by a different artist - as part of the MUQY Street Art Walking Trail.
Mark Warren, Business Improvement District (BID) manager said he was "excited" to confirm the arrival of the new mural.

Mr Warren added: "The previous murals generated a palpable buzz and we anticipate this will do the same.
"We don't want to give too much away, but we can say it will be a striking piece that speaks to the locals, whilst providing a fun and colourful lift to the street."
Mr Warren said there were "exciting plans", with more sites set to launch in 2025.
The project was delivered by Newquay BID and funded by Cornwall Council's Town Delivery Fund.
The latest mural focuses on the flow of tourism in Newquay and features elements such as RNLI lifeguards, hospitality workers, dog-walkers and traffic wardens.
The other murals in the MUQY trail - located in different parts of the town centre -are connected with QR codes.
