Road reopens as police investigate incident

A key road into Bristol has reopened after reports that a person fell from a height, police said.

The A4 Portway was shut earlier by Avon and Somerset Police in both directions between Hotwells and Bridge Valley Road.

Emergency services remain in attendance following the initial report shortly before 15.45 GMT on Sunday.

Traffic has returned to normal, following delays.
