Part of the A11 dual carriageway was closed following a fuel spillage from an agricultural vehicle.

National Highways said the northbound section between the B1106 turn-off, at Elveden, Suffolk, and the A134, near Thetford, in Norfolk, was shut on Thursday at about 19:30 BST.

Emergency services were at the scene, and National Highways said it sent "resources to assist with traffic management and to clean and treat the fuel spillage".

Diversions were put in place, and Norfolk Police advised motorists to find an alternative route.

The road reopened at 02:20 BST.
