Museum seeks local art submissions for exhibition
Artists living in and around Goole have been invited to submit their work for an exhibition taking place this spring.
Goole Museum's annual Open Art Exhibition runs from Saturday 15 March to Saturday 31 May.
The exhibition, which is in its 11th year, celebrates the creativity of local amateur and professional artists.
The museum said it provided an exciting opportunity for members of the community to display and sell their artwork.
As well as paintings and photographs, the exhibition would also welcome textiles, sculptures, ceramics and digital entries.
Goole Museum curator Dr Alex Ombler said: "We're very excited to welcome local artists to submit their artwork for the 2025 Open Art Exhibition at Goole Museum.
''Last year we displayed the work of some immensely talented artists from Goole and the surrounding area, and we'd like to encourage entrants from past exhibitions to come back and display their artwork."
People who would like to submit their work for the exhibition are asked to fill in an entry form or collect one from the museum in Carlisle Street.
