Biker suffers serious injuries in Devon crash

A motorcycle rider was seriously injured during a crash involving a van in Devon.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries while the driver of the other vehicle was unhurt.

Officers said the incident involving a black Triumph TT 600 and a white Volkswagen Transporter happened at about 17:25 GMT on Saturday at the junction of Conway Road and Primley Park on Totnes Road, Paignton.

A road closure was put in place until 22:00 while investigations took place and police have asked any witnesses to contact them.
