Murder arrest after man found dead at tower block
A man has been arrested after a person was found dead at a property in Brighton.
Sussex Police said they were called to Upper Hollingdean Road around 10:00 GMT on 16 January after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man.
He was found inside the property but confirmed dead at the scene.
His death is currently being described as "unexplained" and an investigation is under way to establish what happened.
A 49-year-old man from Hove has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody while inquiries continue.
Police said the two men are known to each other.
Det Ch Insp Mark Cullimore said: "There will be increased police activity in the area as we gather information and evidence to assist us in establishing what has led to this man's death.
"I'd like to thank residents and the wider public in advance for their patience while we carry out these inquiries."
The force added that anyone with information should contact them or the charity Crimestoppers.
