Police appeal after man stabbed in Bicester
GooglePolice are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Bicester on Sunday evening.
Just after 17:00 GMT police were called to reports of a fight near the PureGym at Bicester Shopping Park on Pioneer Way.
Police arrived to find a man in his thirties with a stab wound to his torso.
The man was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and no arrests have been made.
Det Insp George Atkinson said it was believed the incident involved two men who were known to each other and that there was no wider threat to members of the public.
He added there would be an increased police presence in the area and the force was working to identify and arrest the offender.
He asked anyone with information to come forward, and asked for mobile phone, CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time.
