Four more arrests after man shot dead in car

Four more men have been arrested over the death of a man who was fatally shot inside a car in Birmingham.

Raad Asamel, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene on Rotton Park Road at the junction of City Road in Edgbaston, just before 23:00 GMT on 22 November.

The men, aged 21, 22, 23 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder on Thursday and have since been bailed pending further inquiries, West Midlands Police said.

Officers are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to get in contact.

Two other men, 21 and 24, were previously held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, while a 25-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were held on suspicion of assisting an offender.
