Families face years on autism waiting lists

Families have described waiting for letters to arrive or appointments to be scheduled that could lead to their children being diagnosed with autism.

BBC News research suggests the number of children waiting more than a year to be assessed in Wales has doubled in the last three years.

The Welsh government said it would invest £13.7m in neurodivergence services and said long waits were "not acceptable".
